We Stand

Being a church that stands means first and foremost recognizing that Jesus stands by His people. The people He calls, He empowers. The people He leads, He transforms. As the people of Jesus, we are identified as His body. We stand with and in Him in every moment. We shine as lights to the world around us so that all can see Jesus. Transformation and power flow from the relationship that exists between Jesus and His people.

An unstoppable church is a church that stands for one thing – Jesus Christ. His name gives us identity. His death gives us new life. His love gives us purpose. His grace gives us hope. His power gives us courage. His words give us direction. The relationship that the church shares with Christ is empowered by the resurrection and defined by the presence of God. Christians are called to raise one standard and speak one name. God stands by us. When we become a church that stands firmly in Him, we become a people who can spread His name for His glory.
