The Word of God

What is it about the Bible that inspires devotion? Why do men and women commit themselves to study day after day for years on end? The answer lies in the fact that people who study are transformed. God speaks through His Word. An unstoppable church is a church that studies. A church that studies is a church that roots itself in the Word of God. Studying God’s Word helps us see Jesus, helps us become like Jesus, and helps us spread the good news about Jesus.

When we root our lives in God’s Word, it gives us a foundation from which we can proclaim the Christ and showcase the power of the cross. God has already written the story. He calls us to participate in the story, to be changed by the story, and to share our story with others.
