Submit Yourselves To God

Living a life in relationship with God means living for something other than self. Knowing that the world calls us to self can make us aware of our need for Jesus. The first step in walking with Jesus is submission. Submission is the deliberate decision to allow God to direct our steps and guide our path. It requires being willing to let Jesus control our thoughts, decisions, and actions.

We live in a world that seeks the latest fad or the newest fix. We live in a culture that changes truth almost as often as we change clothes. The world around us tries to formulate it’s own answers to our questions. How can the church remain true to God in the midst of such moral relativism? The answer is the same today as it had been throughout history. The church must live lives submitted to Jesus.
